The most delicate recovery in cosmetic surgery
After a facelift, eyelid surgery, or rhinoplasty, you leave the operating room with your surgeon’s artistry in place — and the next 72 hours decide how well it heals. Swelling, bruising, hematoma risk, and strict head-elevation protocols make facial recovery uniquely demanding, and uniquely visible.
Grande Vida is different. One dedicated registered nurse. Private pay. No insurance authorization. No rotating staff. Clinical oversight tailored entirely to your facial procedure — in your home, hotel, or recovery residence throughout DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
Who this is for
- Facelift and neck lift (including SMAS and deep plane techniques)
- Blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelid surgery)
- Rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty
- Brow lift and forehead lift
- Chin augmentation, facial implants, and facial fat transfer
- Combination facial rejuvenation procedures
What we do
Hematoma and swelling surveillance — The first 24–48 hours after a facelift carry the highest risk of hematoma. We monitor continuously for the early signs — one-sided swelling, tightness, unusual pain — and act before a concern becomes a complication.
Head elevation and positioning protocol — Facial results depend on strict elevation and back-sleeping. We manage positioning through the night so you rest without undoing your surgeon’s work.
Cold therapy management — Properly timed, properly protected cold compresses to calm swelling and bruising around delicate healing tissue.
Incision and drain care — Sterile dressing changes around the hairline, ears, and eyes; drain monitoring and output tracking when your surgeon places them.
Eye care after blepharoplasty — Lubricating drops, ointment schedules, and monitoring for dryness or irritation while blinking is reduced.
Nasal care after rhinoplasty — Drip-pad changes, saline care, and congestion comfort — without ever disturbing the splint.
Medication and nausea management — Pain control, antibiotic schedules, and anesthesia-related nausea managed so you stay comfortable and ahead of it.
IV hydration therapy — Hospital-grade IV fluids and vitamins administered directly. Most patients feel dramatically better within an hour.
Red light therapy — Low-level red light therapy supports tissue repair and helps calm inflammation and bruising at the cellular level.
Anti-inflammatory meal preparation — Fresh, soft, easy-to-eat meals built around omega-3s, antioxidants, and healing nutrients. You rest. We nourish.
Direct surgeon communication — If anything warrants your surgeon’s attention, we contact them directly.
Why not a home health agency?
Home health agencies assign rotating aides and may or may not send a registered nurse. Care is driven by insurance authorization. Grande Vida assigns one dedicated RN who knows your case, your surgeon’s protocol, and your face’s healing from the first hour through the last. No rotating staff. No insurance delays.
